JELENA ADAMOVIĆ

 

       Jelena Adamović (1988) completed her elementary and higher music education in “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” music school with Prof. Biljana Jakšić Nikolić. Jelena finished her Bachelor studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2010 with Prof. Ljubomir Mihailović. She completed Master studies with the highest mark in 2012 at the Norway Agder University in Kristijansad, with Prof. Bård Monsen and Prof. Adam Gruchot.

 

With the average grade  9.64/10, as a bachelor student Jelena

won “Dositeja” scholarship for studying abroad in 2010 and 2011.

 

Jelena was a participant in numerous master classes: she

participated in baroque workshops held by Prof. Predrag Novović (Sweden) as well as master classes held by Prof. Vesna Stanković, Prof. Lidija Bizjak (chamber music), Prof. Weigang Li and Prof. Yi-Wen Jiang (Shanghai quartet: USA, China), Prof. Henning Kraggerud (Norway).

 

In 2006 she was a member of Tango Juventud chamber

orchestra, winner of the 1st prize at Astor Piazzola Competiton in Castelfidard, Italy, taught by bandoneon player and a professor Aleksandar Nikolić. Jelena was a participant of The International Orchestra Academy in Hvar (Croatia) in 2009. She performed with Beogradski barok chamber orchestra, the Faculty of Music's orchestra, Madlenianum theatre orchestra, Agder Orkesterforening in Norway and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra in Norway.

 

Since 2014 Jelena has been a member of “Serafimi” chamber

ensemble founded by composer Aleksandar Simić, and a member of string chamber orchestra “Dušan Skovran”.

 

Jelena has been teaching violin since 2012. She is currently

teaching in “Stanković” music school.
